i say Bonjour, they tell me im french. I tell them i model, they say im tall. I am originally from Andalasia, the "beau pays" where every story has an happy ending. In my head im the princess, waiting for the Prince on the Pink horse, Saving me from the evil witch-mother that locked me in her premises and refuses to let me go or grow.I CAN SELL CONTRADICTIONS, My head is full of Paradoxes i confuse myself and those near the use, yet again, you still come to me . Once i get hooked, you fly away like a bee, i try to reach out to you, but you still fly, and dnt come back... when i get near enough you sting me, and moove on, while i cry over my heartbreak, and finally wake from my dillusions, you just shake , take and break what i was ready to plant as a seed and i could already see blossoming. Now look at me, a beautifull confused Disaster, currently recovering, undercover, over lover who is attempting to recover from a love I simply cant seem to get over. Hold up...scrap that...translate the last part to the plural. I have got many lovers, from many moons, i am still trying to get over, it seems like i did, until these horrible flashbacks from the past come back to me as i see, one of the "Kens" face. The bigger issue is nothing can never be the same, and thats where the torture is. Why can't just be like Barbies world, Sunnyville, with a faithfull KEN right by her side. But then again, this smells like Perfection and perfection is human life is the wife of Boredom...*sigh* I dnt Know what to do anymore >_<

Oh my gad! This is so terrible, i can still remenber how many conversations, ive had with people in college about this issue. Asian guys not wanting to date black girls, or black mens dating white girls, black girls dating white guys ,etc etc but danng, this is way deeper when it comes to America. I mean whats the big deal, im totally for the 100% heritage and eveything but like sometimes you can't help who you love, and if that means you dating someone from a total different race and backgrounds im noone to be judging you, neither is the world. All im tryana say is people should be alot more tolerant with each other when it comes to that... because you can really destroy somebody by behaving like some of these people are behaving. Urban World interview with Malicka the Model

Dominic StLuke caught up with Malicka the Model, also known as The French Barbie, a beautiful Ivorian and French model that reached Britain straight from Paris about three years ago and is already making waves in the industry.

Tell me a little bit about yourself, your character your personality.

Ha-ha I really don't know what to say about myself! Wow ..erm I'm French and Ivorian, born and raised in France most of my life. Also lived in Ivory Coast and now live in the U.K. I study in the University of the Arts at London College of Fashion and started a modelling career last year, September 2008. In terms of personality, I would say I'm bubbly, funny and a talkative person LOL, ambitious, but much laid back. I take things the way they come and I strongly believe everything happens for a reason. I always try to keep my head up high at all times regardless of the situation but at the same time keep my head on my shoulder. I have lived in many places, with different people, different backgrounds and beliefs. This taught me how to integrate myself easily and to be very open-minded. I try to keep it real with myself as much as I can and that's where I get my confidence from. I also try not to judge things by the way they look and do as much as I can to try things out before making my mind up.

Tell about being one of the official black models of Oxygen

Well there is not much to say really! LOL. I joined Oxygen models two months after starting my modelling career. I felt ready enough to move up to a higher level, so I walked in and after hesitations from them and attempts to explain to me that Black models don't get as much work within their books, they decided to give me a chance. The chance was to go to a casting on the same day for Matches fashion show! The show would include designs by Dolce and Gabbana, Christian Dior and Stella McCartney. I went along and got the job straight away (which has been my most important job so far). Since then Oxygen has decided to take me on board and officialise me as one of their models!

They have opened many doors and also made me realise that modelling is far from what you just see in magazines. You realise that it's a lifestyle, a day to day basis! It's a commitment you can not take lightly. And ever since then I've been taking it very seriously and I'm also working into getting on board with bigger agencies, nationally and internationally!

I heard that an agency in Paris want to sign you.

Yes, well this should really be thanks to my aunt who is involved in Tourism and Promotions in Paris and South Africa. She managed to get me in contact with interesting people that she works with. They promote South Africa in France by staging fashion shows, plays and other events. It's a bit early to say but hopefully everything goes very well.

Who would you like to model with?

In terms of models, there is no one in particular except obviously the main heads in the industry, such as Jordan Dunn, Chanel Iman, Naomi Lenoir, Agyness Deyn, etc. In terms of designers and photographers: Nigel Barker, Vivienne Westwood, John Galliano and many more. It's really hard to say because there is so many individuals that are fantastic and that would make my head spin.

What makes you different from other models and what are your best assets?

Well my personality plays an important role and also the way I carry myself. I believe to be professional and most importantly a MODEL. From what I think and people tell me, my best assets would be my legs and my lips. I'm tall and my legs are a main interest with my clients. Now that I've changed my whole look in terms of hair, my face features show more and differ me from other models. I guess everyone is different but those points are what make people notice me.

You also mentioned that you have a lot of projects going on. Care to share?

Well 2009 is a new year and it's still hard to predict what could come forth… but as for now, I've got about five projects I'm working on and which the public will see by June! The “EPIC” time, LOL, I've gone for a total change of look; long to short hair and I have to say that has helped me an awful lot in terms of getting jobs. Now the next step is to be an eminent competition to the models I feel are out there at the moment, wont mention any names. By the grace of god, I shall be over the US this time next year or maybe before!

i just love this film ive got the D.V.D, well had it until ashley *my lil sis* scratched it, im soo mad..but anyways, ive watched it about 1 million times and i can't get enough. soooo fetch! That moovie has everything i love...Pink!, Boys, Lipgloss, Shopping, fun, Bitchy, Irony, Jokes, Gayness, Rebellion, Glamourous, crushs, Conceit, Pretentious,parties , Creativ, GIRLS, Gossip, Pay backs, back stabbing, jealousy, Popularity, confrontations, kisses, Dress up , fights... i could go on for evuuuur. But yh..i think it was a genius idea to make that moovie, and i so wish one day, i get to act in a moovie like that :D. Oooh yh...and i also sooo love lindsay Lohans hair colour ! GoOoddd her hair is sooo amazing!

I know i said that it was a genius idea to make that movie, but as you may know im full of contradiction :) but anyways i found out in my research *coz i always provide you the best, and only the best ;) * Mean Girls weren't the first movie made about that vicious high school popular circle!

hey guys its been a while since ive posted something... ive had many ups and downs recently but im still staying positiv and mooving places, still trying to figure out where i belong and what route i should take to get where im going...but ive recently realised that im very young compare to all of these ppl im looking at and comparing myself to and that right now is their time to shine, which means mine is yet to come, and i decided to take it easy and keep going the way im suppose to,... i am amazingly blessed by god and noone and nothing can take me down, i will reach where im aiming to and it will happen eventually but im gonna do one step at the time . Also suprisingly ive been singing alot lately , its almost like the passion is coming back and my voice is waking up after all these months of sleep, ive been singing loads of songs by india arie, whitney houston, Mariah Carey and Jennifer Hudson...I know i know it sounds a bit brave but id like to admit i dnt think im doing to bad at all lol :P... in terms of gym, its becoming an addiction, and im enjoying it the more i do , the more i wanna do, my whole body aches but i guess it means i worked hard...ive attended frequently (finally after all these months of promising) so...im doing not bad, for uni my collection is finally on the go, which mean i finally started to work on it gosh loads to come... anyways been sad , been happy, been depressed , but as usual keepin a shiny smile orn, hoping and wishing for the best....

One of those Days...you just feel like you want to be all alone! actually maybe with someone! but somebody, you care about or somebody you actually give a meeky nutta about what they have to say! Anyhoo...its funny how people keeps coming and going, in and out of your life. Its kind of like that alicia keys song! Fallin. You once loved them, but they were too blind to see and now that you mooved on... they are coming back, before you even know it ,...theyll be out again! Is it that hard to find someone that stays by you and stays true! hmmm... for some it seems to be possible and very easy indeed but for others looks like its much harder and impossible! Sometimes you can be afraid to let your heart open for so long that, all the inpurities it has cope with might cause it to close! and probably for a very long time! if your heart closes then you might, go pass loads of great opportunities, and loose out! and even though i am a strong believer into, " everything happens for a reason!" i still think we are our biggest obstacles and we make choices that directs and guides our destiny! its those choices, that makes our life better or worst! * lets not loose the point here!!! we are talking about ...feelings, love, sentiments, affection not goals or what not*...everyone needs time to think but some just spend time thinking and it leads to more thinking and more thinking and more planning when does it actually end and takes action!* talking about myself right now! * lol! My heart seem to be so willing and open but once someones gets near it .. it shuts down like an eyelid! not that im doing it on purpose but its just hard to just allow a strange being, somewhere where there is a high risk you`ll get hurt! probably its not only my fault, maybe it will have to take more than just a smile and a compliment to get near it ... maybe persistance, and tact will help. Somebody craving enough for it will know what to do or how to open the fence. For now it stays guarded under high security so that it dont get damaged!

Rock'n'Rule!i once read "he that think like a star, walk like a star, act like a star and dress like a star..someday soon will be "the" star! that was my quote for today! ive been compared to grace jones a few times and i admit.. -my first reaction weren really nice about it- in most cases i felt insulted and now i feel even worst for feeling like that at the time! As an up and cuming model...ive learnt to be open minded...and read things deeper than usual. And by doing that, i came to realise that grace jones is a strong character and a talented personnage. She is more than just a woman with man like... features! The look that she is known for {manly} is the look she gave herself. This was a decision she made and indeed a very clever one! i would even go and say it was a very marketable idea to give herself a status and category which is very rare and shocking to some but which makes others just love her. And its also the reason why now, she is in the history of mannequinat. This made me realise than in modelling i will have to give myself a status, a pedestral, a position which will seperate me from the rest! the WHOLE world wants to be a model today! and there will always be better, more talented, more successful, more edgy, taller, slimmer, or somebody better looking than you *told by auntie linda* therefor you need to do what ur implied or what you wish to do the best that you can and perform it in your most unique way! you sometimes have to go and be things your worried people will not like you to be but as long as its what you wish to be , then put your head up high and be "IT" because you only live once and you dnt live for others but yourself and God. In other words people that are famous and successful or even legendary today are people that looked outside the box, followed their heart, worked hard were determined and most importantly DARED TO BE DIFFERENT!

why can't we just wear underwears to go out? when i say wear underwears ...we all do already *well most of us anyways* but i mean wear them alone with no "over" wear! i think underwears are much more interesting than clothes, and whats the point in spending soo much money on some of them sometimes, when you can't even show case them! can you wear underwears without looking "vulgaire"? *french for sleazy* i believe yes! it all depends on how you carry yourself with it! and also the reason why you wear them..if its to attrack, create a reaction or just because it makes you feel good just like wearing your favourite tee shirts makes you feel good! also the type you wear and how you wear it! im crazy in love with underwears and i could walk around all the freaking time in them if i could! feeling more confortable than wearing a huge jumper with baggy jeans. THE hottest underwears right now is the new collection of victoria`s secret and the armani`s underwear , where posh is modelling for the campaign! they're just Fabz! its all about the underwears! THIS IS MY FASHION PREDICTION..in the years to come designers will start including underwears into their collections more often! less is more! covering yourself up does not make you a saint, or a righteous!

a lil Resume about the story :

it took me a very long time to talk about this story, because i was worried about how people will react,..but to be honest this is my freaking blog and i say what the hell i like here! FREE TO SPEAK MY MIND! Anyhoo going into the subject, as the whole world knows already, the story about Chris Brown and rihanna is getting ridiculous now...we've been hearing soo many different stories!But the most consistent one was the one from TMZ so far! Rihana has been beaten up by Chris Brown in the car on their way back from the pre-grammy award party...from whats been said rihanna and Chris brown had an arguement in Chris' car about a text message Chris' got from another women. This arguement, got out of hand and Rihanna apparently faked a phone call telling someone that Chris was dropping her off and they should call the police. Chris then got mad, and said "im going to kill you" then started beatin on her , when she threw the key of the engine out the window to get him off her, that made him furious and the whole thing just went ...down the sheezayy!

My opinion about this lil story:

Ok...i never really been a fan of Chris Brown to be honest, but for some reason im supporting him. Chris brown (CB) is 19, Robyn Rihanna Fenty (Ri) is 21. From the beginning this relationship has been odd...she was claiming that she weren't going out with him, until he said they were...anyhoo its been a year and something now...He attacked her! HE DID WRONG TO HIT ON A WOMAN...that was a total stupid thing to do...BUT...i feel very sorry for him... the whole world is agaisnt him , saying domestic violence etc etc , and forgetting the young man is 19 not even legal to get into a night club yet. there is a million of girls like RI getting beaten up by they're boyfreinds, we never hear them gettin into court! There is wifes, mothers and many more getting beaten up by their husband we never hear so much fuss about it!!!
there is even BABIES such as baby P and etc being killed punched , burnt and etc, and its over
a couple of punches and a pinch your going to end the boys life???

BUT THESE ARE CHILDREN THAT SUFFERED WAY MORE

i would not even go deep into the story but god knows what they went through! they deserve the media and way more attention than a girlfriend being beaten up by her loving boyfriend!
we also got people like Jade goodie Dying over Terminal Cancer, she only got weeks to live, and children in Africa, India, China, Portugal, Brazil, Irac etc dying...
what happened to nick carter beating Paris Hilton when they were dating? lol i know this sounds stupid lool so well just pass on that but yh...Rihanna is a big girl she will survive and even doe i didn like her at one point ! i give her A very HIGH FIVE! for brushing this off and getting back with him! she could of been a total bitch and just make the whole thing worst for him but her love for him helped her to find a place in her heart to forgive him! and das beautiffull...everybody should be forgiven at least... its the least we can do! the boy is young and god knows what he's been coping with ..and being in the public eye is not something very easy!

i know what its like to make a mistake in your life and have no one on your side, when everybody hates you for what you did and its like your not human and not even allowed to make an error! they just jump down your throat as if you killed someone! and its the worst feeling in the WORLD! we've been forgiven many times in our lives but its like when it comes to be others turn to be forgiven we're heartless.

NOW A COUPLE OF FACTS:
CB is being accused of threats for saying "im going to kill you" das something that everybody say ...and also what happened to when Jay Z said loud and clear that CB is a dead walking man!! and that he messed with the wrong crew for what he did! thats a much bigger threat to me! :

CB handed himself to the police, so techniqualy he knew he did something wrong , and i believe that was a way to show that he got back to he senses and realised

RI has been texting CB after the assaults to find out if he is ok! well if my boyfriend was to hit me i dnt think i would be even wanting to speak to him for a very long time... are u crazy? love or not love!!! not gonn happen!

RI pretended to speak to someone asking the person to call the police for him?? why would your do that??? kmt!

CB and RI are back together in one of Sean Comb's house (*P diddy*) why would you get back with him so soon if you weren't a lil guilty?

RI has got a lil reputation of a POSSESSIV girl friend, with rumours about leona lewis, Jordin sparks, etc and of a diva like star with media and press

ITS BEEN A WEEK NOW!
Ive decided to go on a diet.. for modelling purposes! my aim is size 8 since ima size 10/12....hard to believe yes i know.. thanks to my height! anyhoo...
