tell me this chica aint got style, i don't even think she has a stylist, and she dresses like a fashion goddess,...i aint gonn lie, im TOTALLY digging her style, from A to Z. Every picture of her is an inspiration to me. with a girlfriend like her, no wonder why Kanye West has been attending every fashion week existing on the planet! Oh my gad! This is so terrible, i can still remenber how many conversations, ive had with people in college about this issue. Asian guys not wanting to date black girls, or black mens dating white girls, black girls dating white guys ,etc etc but danng, this is way deeper when it comes to America. I mean whats the big deal, im totally for the 100% heritage and eveything but like sometimes you can't help who you love, and if that means you dating someone from a total different race and backgrounds im noone to be judging you, neither is the world. All im tryana say is people should be alot more tolerant with each other when it comes to that... because you can really destroy somebody by behaving like some of these people are behaving. Tyra Banks is talking about this issue on her show .... here what kind of absurdity these people are saying...

hahahahahahah that day was toooo funnny! awww me and chyn iin westfield! having a light dinner before heading home after shopping the day before mother's day! we had sooo much fun lauffin at some people thinking they are celebrities wearing the same tee shirt everyday and standing around westfield shopping center with no shopppping in hand what so ever! anyways ... we were in pizza express. hmmmm the food was nice! memories :D xx

oh mi god my whole body is aching, ESPECIALLY my arms muscles, it makes me scream each and everytime, im trying to carry my hand bag or a glass even to open the door. arghhh...this is the last time im doing pull ups at the gym,... :o and i can already see the exagerated curve already...wow one day of intensive work out on your arms and it can already show off...danng i didn know that! anyways dunno about you, but erm...i find twitter pretty boring...hmm dunno why but....its like ok you write something and then wat? the only thing other people are doing on it is really having conversations in that case you might as well, call it twitter messenger, or msn or aim ...!!! Urban World interview with Malicka the Model

Dominic StLuke caught up with Malicka the Model, also known as The French Barbie, a beautiful Ivorian and French model that reached Britain straight from Paris about three years ago and is already making waves in the industry.

Tell me a little bit about yourself, your character your personality.

Ha-ha I really don't know what to say about myself! Wow ..erm I'm French and Ivorian, born and raised in France most of my life. Also lived in Ivory Coast and now live in the U.K. I study in the University of the Arts at London College of Fashion and started a modelling career last year, September 2008. In terms of personality, I would say I'm bubbly, funny and a talkative person LOL, ambitious, but much laid back. I take things the way they come and I strongly believe everything happens for a reason. I always try to keep my head up high at all times regardless of the situation but at the same time keep my head on my shoulder. I have lived in many places, with different people, different backgrounds and beliefs. This taught me how to integrate myself easily and to be very open-minded. I try to keep it real with myself as much as I can and that's where I get my confidence from. I also try not to judge things by the way they look and do as much as I can to try things out before making my mind up.

Tell about being one of the official black models of Oxygen

Well there is not much to say really! LOL. I joined Oxygen models two months after starting my modelling career. I felt ready enough to move up to a higher level, so I walked in and after hesitations from them and attempts to explain to me that Black models don't get as much work within their books, they decided to give me a chance. The chance was to go to a casting on the same day for Matches fashion show! The show would include designs by Dolce and Gabbana, Christian Dior and Stella McCartney. I went along and got the job straight away (which has been my most important job so far). Since then Oxygen has decided to take me on board and officialise me as one of their models!

They have opened many doors and also made me realise that modelling is far from what you just see in magazines. You realise that it's a lifestyle, a day to day basis! It's a commitment you can not take lightly. And ever since then I've been taking it very seriously and I'm also working into getting on board with bigger agencies, nationally and internationally!

I heard that an agency in Paris want to sign you.

Yes, well this should really be thanks to my aunt who is involved in Tourism and Promotions in Paris and South Africa. She managed to get me in contact with interesting people that she works with. They promote South Africa in France by staging fashion shows, plays and other events. It's a bit early to say but hopefully everything goes very well.

Who would you like to model with?

In terms of models, there is no one in particular except obviously the main heads in the industry, such as Jordan Dunn, Chanel Iman, Naomi Lenoir, Agyness Deyn, etc. In terms of designers and photographers: Nigel Barker, Vivienne Westwood, John Galliano and many more. It's really hard to say because there is so many individuals that are fantastic and that would make my head spin.

What makes you different from other models and what are your best assets?

Well my personality plays an important role and also the way I carry myself. I believe to be professional and most importantly a MODEL. From what I think and people tell me, my best assets would be my legs and my lips. I'm tall and my legs are a main interest with my clients. Now that I've changed my whole look in terms of hair, my face features show more and differ me from other models. I guess everyone is different but those points are what make people notice me.

You also mentioned that you have a lot of projects going on. Care to share?

Well 2009 is a new year and it's still hard to predict what could come forth… but as for now, I've got about five projects I'm working on and which the public will see by June! The “EPIC” time, LOL, I've gone for a total change of look; long to short hair and I have to say that has helped me an awful lot in terms of getting jobs. Now the next step is to be an eminent competition to the models I feel are out there at the moment, wont mention any names. By the grace of god, I shall be over the US this time next year or maybe before!

You Had it all, right in front of you, big shiny and gold...all you had to do is ask me to be your girlfriendbut you liked being friends because it was safe to be unofficial...yet again you were asking for more and taking actions that were standing for promises.... i knew it would of been that way if you was to take too long like the ones before...i would end up getting bored of waiting and say...i dnt wanna anymore...for me to love you...means its more than just what my eyes can see...its more like something that my heart can feel...its not about the stories i hear...its more about what we can be!...its not about what people will say, nothing will be new to my ear. ..not saying we should rush into things, but waiting could just make things...loose their glow and allow trange beings in our system, could ruin the show..why should you care about who likes who or hat competition you may have the only thing you should pay mind to is the chemistry that we have .

im not gonna go into it, but the reason why ive put it in a POST is because of the style and fashion of that movie. This movie was made in 1993, and as you can see its pretty back to basics...the whole big braids, bright colours, high waist denim jeans, red lipstics, etc and etc... i lov it! im looking to do my hair like that again maybe next week! hmm... should be fun and different! ;) anyways im done talking here for the first time im out ! :D shuld be coming soon with some pic of the hair do! :) xx mwah

i just love this film ive got the D.V.D, well had it until ashley *my lil sis* scratched it, im soo mad..but anyways, ive watched it about 1 million times and i can't get enough. soooo fetch! That moovie has everything i love...Pink!, Boys, Lipgloss, Shopping, fun, Bitchy, Irony, Jokes, Gayness, Rebellion, Glamourous, crushs, Conceit, Pretentious,parties , Creativ, GIRLS, Gossip, Pay backs, back stabbing, jealousy, Popularity, confrontations, kisses, Dress up , fights... i could go on for evuuuur. But yh..i think it was a genius idea to make that moovie, and i so wish one day, i get to act in a moovie like that :D. Oooh yh...and i also sooo love lindsay Lohans hair colour ! GoOoddd her hair is sooo amazing!

A LIL STEP INTO THE HISTORY

I know i said that it was a genius idea to make that movie, but as you may know im full of contradiction :) but anyways i found out in my research *coz i always provide you the best, and only the best ;) * Mean Girls weren't the first movie made about that vicious high school popular circle!

in 1993 we've got DAZED AND CONFUSED...

in 1999 we've got JAWBREAKER...

all the films i just mentioned are movies about In-Crowd group of girls * kind of like the plastics, but from different periods. The concept still the same so is the game only the players keeps changing. Its still about the same old *POPULARITY, VICIOUSNESS, GIRLICIOUS AND SELFISHNESS*

THIS PINK, POPULAR, JEALOUS, BACK STABBING WORLD IS SOO FREAKING INTERESTING! i would say if any of you guys have some spare time, you should check these films out they are soo FetcH! ;)

hey guys its been a while since ive posted something... ive had many ups and downs recently but im still staying positiv and mooving places, still trying to figure out where i belong and what route i should take to get where im going...but ive recently realised that im very young compare to all of these ppl im looking at and comparing myself to and that right now is their time to shine, which means mine is yet to come, and i decided to take it easy and keep going the way im suppose to,... i am amazingly blessed by god and noone and nothing can take me down, i will reach where im aiming to and it will happen eventually but im gonna do one step at the time . Also suprisingly ive been singing alot lately , its almost like the passion is coming back and my voice is waking up after all these months of sleep, ive been singing loads of songs by india arie, whitney houston, Mariah Carey and Jennifer Hudson...I know i know it sounds a bit brave but id like to admit i dnt think im doing to bad at all lol :P... in terms of gym, its becoming an addiction, and im enjoying it the more i do , the more i wanna do, my whole body aches but i guess it means i worked hard...ive attended frequently (*finally after all these months of promising*) so...im doing not bad, for uni my collection is finally on the go, which mean i finally started to work on it *gosh* loads to come... anyways been sad , been happy, been depressed , but as usual keepin a shiny smile orn, hoping and wishing for the best....
